A FLAT has been left badly damaged after candles sparked an evening blaze on Saturday.
It's thought the fire, which took hold of an address in Nuthurst Close, Ifield at 5.25pm, was started by candles burning above a TV.

A spokesman from West Sussex Fire and Rescue said that three engines had attended the fire.

The flat was left badly smoke damaged, but no one is thought to have been injured in the blaze.
