THREE suspected illegal immigrants jumped out of a lorry on Manor Royal and hot-footed it to freedom.
But a keen-eyed lorry driver spotted the 'great escape' and called police.

Two men were seen by coppers and chased down but one man remains at large.

Police arrived at the BOC base on Fleming Way, just after midday today (December 4).

A lorry driver has been questioned by police and his vehicle searched.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Three suspected illegal immigrants were seen jumping from a lorry that had arrived at Manor Royal industrial estate and attempted to run-off.

"Police arrived at the scene very quickly after being alerted by a member of the public.

"Two males were spotted running and were arrested.

"The lorry driver has been spoken to and his lorry searched."
