Grants up to £5,000 for health and wellbeing projects in the Chichester district are up for grabs.
The money comes from the Healthier Chichester Partnership, made up of West Sussex County Council, Chichester District Council and NHS West Sussex.
The funding is for one year and organisations which apply will need to use it between April, 2010,
and April, 2011.
Cllr Heather Caird, district council portfolio holder for health, said applications were invited from any local organisation keen to develop services to meet the needs of the local community.
"Funding is available from the Voluntary and Community Sector Grant Fund of up to £2,000 and the Health Activity Grant Fund of up to £5,000 per application," she added.
"The funding is for organisations helping residents living in the Chichester district to live healthier and happier lives, while remaining independent and well for as long as possible."
Applications should be made by December 31, and decisions will be made in March next year.
