DOZENS of firefighters fought to contain a major blaze in a farm warehouse in Goose Green Lane, Thakeham, last Wednesday.
The fire broke out about 6pm in a timber shed, which was used to store electrical components. It is believed to have spread from a nearby bonfire.

Six fire engines were called to the farm and an hour later 40 per cent of the storage shed was still well alight. Replacement firefighters were called in to help.

Crews remained at the scene well into the night as they brought the blaze under control and made the area safe.
The road was closed by police as a precaution.
