Man 'critical' after attack in Durrington

A MAN is in a critical condition following an assault outside a pub in Durrington.
Sussex Police said the 48-year-old collapsed near The Lamb in Salvington Road, Durrington, following an attack at about 0140 BST.

He was taken to Worthing Hospital where his condition was described as critical but stable.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault close to the scene.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
