Charlotte taking Olympic plunge

A STORRINGTON swimmer, who has been earmarked for the 2012 London Olympics, is heading out to Beijing to gain experience as part of the British Olympic Ambition programme.
Charlotte Woolliscroft (17) has a formidable record of achievements in this country and the programme will enable her to watch several events, visit the Olympic Village and soak up the atmosphere in Beijing, as well as have the opportunity to swim in the purpose-built lake used for open-water evens.


The programme is aimed at preparing athletes for the London 2012 Olympic Games, where she will hope to compete.
