POLICE investigating a robbery at Barclays Bank, High St, Henfield on Tuesday have issued a description of the armed man.
The man, carrying with what is believed to be a gun, entered the bank and demanded cash at around 2.30pm. He left with money, walking towards the library.

Staff and customers, who were in the bank at the time, were uninjured.

The man is described as white, of small build and with a dirty complexion. He was wearing a knee length dark coloured coat with hood.

DI Jo Banks said: " We are examining the scene and are talking to witnesses inside and outside the bank. There were an number of people in the area at the time and if witnesses have not spoken with the police yet we would urge them to come forward. They can talk to detectives on 0845 60 70 999."
