UPDATE: Woman bailed after man dies in Worthing hotel

POLICE have bailed a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply after a man died in a busy Worthing hotel yesterday (Wednesday, July 29).

Police were called to the Chatsworth Hotel, The Steyne, at around 4.15am today following a report that a man – understood to be from Worthing – had collapsed in a room.

At the time, a spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Paramedics were already present but efforts to revive the 58-year-old man were sadly unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
