More than 5,000 visitors flocked to the stunning grounds of Alexandra Park, Hastings last weekend (June 4-5) to enjoy two days of family fun at the 8th annual Hastings Town and Country Show.

Mayor of Hastings Cllr Judy Rogers officially opened the show and a spokesman for event organisers Oakleigh Fairs said whatever your interests they endeavoured to make sure there really was something for everyone.

The spokesman said: “More than 5,000 people enjoyed family entertainment including birds of prey, children’s entertainment with Banana Brain, The Dog and Duck Show, Terrier Racing, The Goat Show, historical re-enactment with the Company of 1415, as well as arts, crafts, gifts and food marquees.

“Other free demonstrations from stick furniture making, pole latheing and basket making as well as sampling and buying in our Arts, Crafts and Gifts marquees as well as Lifestyle and Food Stalls.
