Time to make voices heard

Liberal Democrat councillors on East Sussex County Council form the largest opposition group to the Conservatives, and I am currently our spokesman for adult social care.

I am grateful for the coverage you have already given in the paper to the public consultation on the council’s proposed cuts to adult social care (amounting to a total of 40m) which will hit our most vulnerable citizens very hard indeed.

I urge your readers please to make their voice heard via the council’s website before the consultation closes on December 18.
