Probably more than ever there is a need to encourage people to use transport methods which do not harm the environment and at the same time keep us fit and healthy.
If you try to cycle on the roads in Hastings you will know how dangerous this is.
I hope that over time as safe routes are established that more and more people including school children will take to cycling and walking as the means to get around the town.
