The victim, a 41-year-old man, was in Southfield Road, Worthing, at around 10.30-10.45am on Wednesday (October 19) when he was accosted by two men, according to police. In a statement, police said: “He was pushed to the ground and a bag containing several thousands of pounds in cash was snatched from him. No weapons were seen and the man was unhurt. “The robbers, both slim and aged around 30, were both dressed in grey tracksuit bottoms and grey hooded tops, one of which was a darker grey. One man was around 5ft 7in and the other 5ft 4in. “House-to-house enquiries have been made and detectives would also like to hear from anyone who saw the incident or noticed the offenders acting suspiciously in the area before or after the robbery. “Anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 425 of 19/10. “Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 (www.crimestoppers-uk.org).” Don’t miss out on all the latest breaking news where you live.
